Leadership Cashiers was initiated in 2017 by a collaborative task force from the Cashiers Area Chamber and Vision Cashiers. The program’s curriculum follows a proven model utilized by many communities nationwide to cultivate effective leaders.

By taking an in-depth, intensive look at the critical issues affecting the Cashiers area, the program equips and inspires participants to provide impactful and forward-thinking community leadership.

The vision of Leadership Cashiers is to cultivate a cadre of area leaders equipped with the essential tools and connections to make a meaningful, positive impact on our community, while gaining insight into future challenges. The program is tailored for individuals who aspire to make a meaningful and positive impact on the Cashiers community. Open to both permanent and seasonal residents and stakeholders of the Cashiers area, the program will welcome an inaugural class of 20 to 26 participants, carefully selected to represent a wide range of backgrounds and perspectives.
